iDiscover App & Map creates digital and illustrated maps with communities in historic districts to emphasize the richness of local heritage, culture and community and celebrate authenticity in the city.
I came across and start the project with them through Doh Eain, a local organization specialize in preserving heritage, creating and improving public spaces.
It was a highly enjoyable and meaningful project! :)
The neighborhood is situated to the west of downtown Yangon and is well-connected to other parts of the city. Sanchaung is known for its lively atmosphere and is a great place to experience local culture and daily life in Yangon.
